"Hi! I'm Kameron Tessier, a third year Politics major with a minor in Legal Studies. This will be my second term as President and I am excited to continue the great efforts we have been pursuing, including campus voter registration, involvement in local campaigns, and membership building. I have called many parts of California home, including the central coast, the central valley, and San Diego. With this in mind, I care deeply not only about California politics, but also politics at the local level, and that means getting UCSC students involved!"

Ruby Seckinger (she/her)

"Hello! I'm Ruby, a second year Politics and Philosophy student here at UCSC. I chose to get involved with College Dems early in my freshman year to get experience with local politics and apply the knowledge I gained in my politics coursework. In addition to experience, I gained a wonderful community of like-minded peers who are equally dedicated to advancing progressive politics here in Santa Cruz and beyond. From interviewing local politicians to attending conventions in Sacramento, this club has provided me with incredible opportunities to grow as a citizen, student, and leader. I look forward to giving back to the (UC)SC community and helping other students have access to similar opportunities."

"Hi there! My name is Daniel Gilad, a second-year student pursuing double majors in Politics and Environmental Studies. Currently, I serve as the VP of membership at UCSC College Dems, and I'm thrilled for the upcoming school year to create more amazing memories with this fantastic community! When I'm not busy with Dems, you can find me drinking coffee with friends, discovering new hiking trails, exploring thrift stores, and playing my guitar. I'm also involved in Moot Court, PAD, and Sprout UP, and this summer, I'm interning with an immigration law firm. I'm super excited for this upcoming year and can't wait to make even more amazing memories with the Dems!"

"Hello! My name is Evelin Chavez, I am a first-year student planning on double majoring in Politics and Legal Studie. I am so excited to be this years Communications Director for College Dems. Alongside College Dems, I am the Outreach Coordinator for the Division of Student Affairs and Success (DSAS) as well as the Student Union Governance Board Representative (SUGB) for Stevenson Student Council. This club has taught me so much and has given me a community where my voice and opinions matter. I can't wait to continue expanding our club and creating all these incredible memories"

I joined College Dems very early in my freshmen year and it has been a wonderful place that I have been able to gain a lot of political perspective and experience.
